  2.                     TAT from FLI notes file

  4. Greetings,
  5.  
  6.      The included ST LOW Rez 16 color TAT animation may be played with
  7. Martin Packer's copyrighted, freeware, ANIMTOOL animator on any ST (as
  8. far as I know).  This is available on most national BBS systems for the
  9. price of a download.
  10.  
  11.      I got the original PC Autodesk Animator (.FLI) animation from the S&S
  12. Enterprises VGA Spectrum or VGA Spectrum II CD-ROM and converted it to an
  13. ST compatible TAT animation with Martin's FLICONV (FLI converter) program.

  15.      This work was done on an Atari MegaSTE4 under TOS 2.06 and MultiTOS. 
  16. I am using an old Atari CDAR-504 CD-ROM drive to read the CD-ROMs.  It's a
  17. real shame that Atari didn't release the CDAR-504 as it would have made
  18. the ST a major CD-ROM platform years before the PC was.  Oh well.

  20.      MultiTOS made the file conversion quite convenient as I could convert
  21. the .FLI file in one window and do other work at the same time, like
  22. writing this documentation file for example.  <grin>

  24.      I hope you enjoy these converted animations as much as I have enjoyed
